Healing Trauma and Fostering Resilience

Resiliency and healing-focused therapy is designed with an overarching goal of experiencing and acting upon the world without being influenced by trauma, particularly for those on their parenting journey, but not limited to them. Using evidence-based therapy, we collaborate to recognize the innate strength of childhood complex trauma survivors. Together, we increase awareness of adaptations in emotional, physical, cognitive, relational, and behavioral experiences caused by complex trauma. The focus extends to improving unhelpful patterns, enhancing regulation strategies, and unpacking and processing adverse experiences, building a more cohesive awareness and separation between past, present, and future.

This therapeutic approach is tailored to each unique individual's wants, needs, values, culture, and experiences. A distinctive strength lies in addressing intergenerational and generational trauma, aiming to heal the wounds passed down through history and families. The ultimate hope is to contribute to changing the future parenting generation and communities as a whole by fostering a way of parenting and experiencing the world
without the weight of trauma's influence.

The technical approach is grounded in research on components of resilience, the impact of complex trauma, neurological development, and attachment. This technique weaves together training in psychodynamic therapy, child-parent psychotherapy, internal family systems therapy, and additional complementary models. To treat the whole person comprehensively, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and cultural wellness practices are integrated.

Together, we increase awareness of adaptations in emotional, physical, cognitive, relational, and behavioral experiences caused by complex trauma.
